Distilleria Bottega was established in 1977 by Aldo Boettga and is based in Castello Roganzuolo near Conegliano, the capital of Prosecco and one of the most famous areas in the world for the vine cultural tradition. The company is around 45 km from Venice, "symbol of art and culture" and it represents a point of reference.
All Alexander Grappa has its origin from very fresh and still vinous marca that are distilled in copper stills following the steam distillation so that the higher qulity is guaranteed.
At the beginning of the nineties they chose to produce their distillates with an alcoholic degree of 38% to offer the consumer a light and digestible product extolling the fragrance of the grapes.

The bottles made of blown glass designed by Sandro Bottega are the ideal container for Grappa to embellish and extol transperencies. They were also an object of prestigious itinerant exhibition called "Art of Grappa". These bottles once empty, can be utilized as an ornament or as a container for othr liquids ( like oil, balsamic vinegar etc. )
Elegance and seriousness are the qualities that has characterised the Alexander company. The naturalness of the products and their originality are composing mosaics in Italian style that allows to be proud.

We at RI – Wine of Ascot have been selling Alexander products for a number of years and are regularly surprised seeing and beeing introduced to new ‘ Objects of Art ‘ filled with an excellent and high quality grappa called "Grappa Alexander".
